One thing Sorin does excel at over many other walkers is his ultimate which isn't all that situational, doesn't cost too much and should win the game convincingly

With the owned Pokmon that were expecting to see making a comeback in Battle Partners, having Team Rocket-owned Pokmon arriving, just a month later in Japan, would not only be a massive hit of nostalgia for old school Pokmon fans, but itd make an awful lot of sense to have these two classic, long dormant Pokmon types returning together
